Rules & terminology

Goal: be the first to play all 13 of your cards.
Ranking: 3 is lowest, then 4…K, A, and 2 (heo) is highest. Suits: ♠ < ♣ < ♦ < ♥.
Start: the player holding the lowest card leads the first round and must include it.
Combinations: single • pair (đôi) • triple (bộ ba) • straight of 3+ (sảnh, no 2s) • 3+ consecutive pairs (đôi thông) • four of a kind (tứ quý).
Beating: you must play the same type and size with a higher top card, or pass. Passing sits you out until the round is cleared.
Chops (chặt): tứ quý or 3 consecutive pairs beat a single 2 • tứ quý or 4 consecutive pairs beat a pair of 2s • 4 consecutive pairs beat tứ quý.
Instant wins (tới trắng): four 2s, a 3→A dragon straight (sảnh rồng), or six pairs win immediately.
